Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds frozen meatballs
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • fresh parsley for garnish
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 9x13 inch baking dish
  • Aluminum foil
  • Oven

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Pour frozen meatballs into the prepared baking dish, spreading them in an even layer.
  3. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs, coating them evenly.
  4. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the sauce.
  5. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 35 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the casserole.
  7. Return to oven uncovered and bake 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let rest 5 minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

Can be assembled ahead and refrigerated before baking. Add cooked pasta for a heartier meal. Freezes well for up to 3 months.
